Natural ~ High~ Fashion

I had such a blast last night all thanks to my great friend Becky!! She invited me to this photo shoot party where models and photographers meet up and network. When we walked in there was a really basic white background set up for us to use (and share with 20 other photographers). Becky and I exchanged bored looks and immediatly found a random corner with this great red wall and hideous orange chair. Thanks goodness we had brought our own studio lights or we would have been shoved into the mainstream duldrum. At one point another (older, slightly more traditional) photographer came over and tried shooting with us which was totally fine but he didn't last long. He couldn't figure out why we were shooting with such high contrast lighting and encouraging the dark shadows. I am totally thrilled with the outcome of my photographs and can't wait to try more fashion photography. It's such a high to break tradition!!

Darla! This was SO much fun! I love the images you got. Especially love the one of Tina...you know the one with her leg extended out. Props to you on that one!

Wow Darla, what happened to the person who sat in the cubie next to me, so scared to start doing her own photography? Nothing to worry about anymore. You're absolutely amazing!
