Introducing....VIOLET

Violet is almost six weeks old. Isn't she ADORABLE? She was only six pounds when she was born but has gained a whopping 2 lbs since then. She has the cutest nursery I have ever seen. Her mom has an amazing eye for decoration. Black, white, pink and gold. SOOO CUTE. The panda collection is from her dad tho and brings the whole room together. Thank you Kamille and Zach for letting me into your home to photograph your BEAUTIFUL baby Violet. Get ready for an onslot of photos...There were too many cute ones to narrow it down.

Tahitian Noni Bridal Show

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth this weekend at the Tahitian Noni Bridal Show. I had such a great time hearing about all of your wedding details. I look forward to working with you in the coming spring and summer!

I was lucky enough to have a booth next to my good friend Audry with Storybook Flowers. Check out these AWESOME flower designs and be sure to check in on her website.

Chris and Brecca ~ The Wedding

I have never seen such huge snowflakes! This wedding was in Idaho a few weeks ago and it was just coming down. The bride and groom acted like they didnt even notice. They were just happy to be married. I got to spend the whole day with them and their awesome families. Thank you all for your hospitality.

Natural ~ High~ Fashion

I had such a blast last night all thanks to my great friend Becky!! She invited me to this photo shoot party where models and photographers meet up and network. When we walked in there was a really basic white background set up for us to use (and share with 20 other photographers). Becky and I exchanged bored looks and immediatly found a random corner with this great red wall and hideous orange chair. Thanks goodness we had brought our own studio lights or we would have been shoved into the mainstream duldrum. At one point another (older, slightly more traditional) photographer came over and tried shooting with us which was totally fine but he didn't last long. He couldn't figure out why we were shooting with such high contrast lighting and encouraging the dark shadows. I am totally thrilled with the outcome of my photographs and can't wait to try more fashion photography. It's such a high to break tradition!!

Amy ~ Bridals

I am so excited to do Amy and Alan's wedding this weekend. Amy is such a sweet girl. We did her bridals last weekend and she looked so comfortable in front of the camera. She made my job easy.

Rio turns Two

My mom got Rio a complete cowboy outfit for his birthday. I couldnt pass up a good photoshoot. As some of you know, you only have about 30 seconds before a two year old is sick of a photoshoot. It just happened that that 30 seconds wrapped up before I got the whole outfit on him. I don't think my mom is thrilled about the wife-beater.

Joe and Whitney

So Joe has one of the most contagious smiles I have ever photographed. I tried to have them do a serious pose because it was so cold outside their smiles were starting to freeze...BUT he couldn't do it. His serious face was just as happy as his smiling face. And then there is Whitney. She's gorgeous but doesn't seem to know it. This couple is just a perfect match. I can't wait to photograph their wedding this summer. Thanks for everything guys!

Ximena's Bridals

I had so much fun doing Ximena's bridals. I love to be in the studio but rarely get the chance. This girl is such a natural beauty and so photogenic. I can't wait for the wedding next weekend.
